Grünfisch presents some truly delectable dishes all hailing from the Southern tip of Italy and the island of Sicily

The Grünfisch restaurant located on the Fasanenstrasse in Berlin is the second Grünfisch restaurant to open in the city. The first was opened over 8 years ago and has proved to be such a huge success, owners Giovanni Di Liberto and Dang Vu Pham decided to open a second restaurant to cater for demand. As the names suggest, the owners are both Italian (Sicilian to be exact) and Vietnamese yet the food at Grünfisch remains firmly Southern Italian in style. The three course set menus are really popular at Grünfisch; stuffed swordfish rolls with fennel salad and orange for starter followed by monkfish fillets with lemon and artichoke ravioli with ragout and finishing with crème caramel with ginger being just one example. The prices are really reasonable too which is one of the reasons that this restaurant is pulling in the crowds. The wine list offers some excellent Sicilian varieties and there is something to accompany every meal choice. The atmosphere at Grünfisch is friendly and unassuming and will certainly ensure that you come back for a second visit.
