Spindler & Klatt is a sumptuous riverside restaurant and club in Berlin where hot Asian fusion cuisine can be savoured in the coolest of surroundings. Situated in an old factory warehouse, the whole space is now merely divided by curtains and lighting and now breathes minimalist cool. Although the name Spindler & Klatt sounds like one of those corporate legal firms, this place is as hip as can be and is currently wowing the Berlin restaurant and clubbing scene. The amazing dining room features low lying mattresses which line the edges of the room where diners can lazily eat their meal whilst in the centre area are stunning dark wood tables with benches in a Japanese style, ultra modern and very stylish. If it’s warm you’ll find the terraces the best place to be, stretched out under huge white canopies with DJ’s pumping out the beats while you dine. The cuisine is a kind of Asian fusion and the flavours are divine with dishes such as salmon steak with wok vegetables, Thai basil and ginger or fillet of lamb with cardamom, pimiento and pumpkin puree with sunchoke chips.
